About BusMate

BusMate is a new way to book intercity bus tickets in Sri Lanka — search once, and see every approved private operator running your route in a single list, instead of checking each operator's own site separately.

Every fare shown is calculated from the official NTC rate for that bus class and distance, plus a clearly labelled service fee — never a hidden markup. Tickets are delivered with a QR code, so a conductor can check a booking on the spot instead of relying on a paper ticket that might not have been issued at all.

BusMate is built for Sri Lanka: no password to remember, just a one-time code by SMS or email, and your ticket delivered the same way — right to your phone. BusMate works in Sinhala, Tamil, and English.

BusMate is a booking platform, not a bus operator — the buses, drivers, and journeys themselves are run by independent private operators, each of whom is reviewed before their trips appear on the site.
